Description
Job Summary
As a Cabin Host at Cirrus Aviation, you are responsible for ensuring each flight reflects our commitment to safety, professionalism, and hospitality. You will deliver exceptional in-flight service to private jet owners, their guests, and charter clients—anticipating needs, maintaining cabin presentation, and enhancing overall guest satisfaction. This role requires flexibility, impeccable attention to detail, and the ability to operate within a luxury environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Coordinate with scheduling and flight crews to confirm passenger requirements, dietary preferences, and special requests.
- Stock and organize the galley according to Cirrus Aviation’s approved catering standards and VVIP preferences.
- Conduct a thorough cabin walkthrough prior to boarding, ensuring that surfaces, seating, and amenities meet company appearance standards.
- Verify that all required safety equipment (life vests, emergency kits, first-aid supplies) is accessible and properly stowed.
- Greet owners and guests with professional courtesy; offer personalized welcome amenities (e.g., cold towels, refreshments).
- Execute multi-course beverage and snack service, including fine beverage presentation and plating, while adhering to strict safety protocols.
- Monitor cabin comfort (temperature, lighting, music preferences) and make real-time adjustments to exceed guest expectations.
- Deliver discreet, anticipatory service throughout the flight: refilling beverages, clearing dishes, replenishing snacks, and attending to any special requests.
- Maintain a polished, composed demeanor at all times; ensure confidentiality of client information and flight details.
- Clear all glassware, china, utensils, and linens using Cirrus Aviation’s approved dish-cleaning protocol (scrape, sanitize, rinse, and store).
- Restock any remaining supplies, remove trash according to waste-management guidelines, and prepare the cabin for the next assignment.
- Report any maintenance discrepancies (spills, cabin damage, equipment malfunctions) promptly to the In-Fleet Services team.
- Complete post-flight service logs, noting any guest feedback or items requiring follow-up.
- Adhere to all Cirrus Aviation’s Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) while on board.
- Maintain current certifications in CPR and Basic First Aid.
- Complete Safety, Security, and Information (SSI) training as required for each aircraft type.
- Uphold Cirrus Aviation’s appearance standards at all times—ensuring uniform, grooming, and overall professional presentation align with company guidelines.
- Collaborate closely with Pilots, Flight Coordinators, and In-Fleet Service teams to ensure seamless transitions between assignments.
- Communicate any special cabin needs (e.g., temperature adjustments, equipment requests) during pre-flight briefings.
- Provide constructive feedback on cabin procedures or product offerings to enhance overall guest experience.
- Attend periodic crew meetings, briefings, and refresher trainings to stay aligned with company updates and best practices.
Requirements
Skills & Competencies
- Proficient in multi-course beverage and meal service, including fine-dining etiquette.
- Strong knowledge of in-flight beverage service (wine, spirits, espresso, etc.) and proper presentation techniques.
- Familiarity with aviation-approved cleaning products and sanitation protocols.
- Ability to complete FAA-mandated safety training (CPR, SSI, type-specific evacuation drills).
- Impeccable attention to detail and a commitment to excellence in guest service.
- Exceptional interpersonal skills: able to anticipate guest needs and maintain discretion.
- Ability to remain calm under pressure, adapt quickly to schedule changes, and handle last-minute assignments.
- Strong time-management skills: capable of prioritizing tasks when multiple flights require attention.
- Demonstrated reliability: punctual, organized, and consistently prepared for each assignment.
Work Environment & Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand, bend, kneel, and reach for extended periods during service and cleanup.
