Overview

Crosswoods Golf Course is a 36 hole championship golf facility located in the heart of Crosslake, MN. The 2026 season brought the opening of The Farm, a brand new links style 9-hole course at Crosswoods Golf Course. With Crosslake being a summer destination for many families, Crosswoods explodes with life during the season. The assistant golf professionals at Crosswoods have a unique opportunity to see all sides to the golf business and can gain valuable experience. Crosswoods is a family owned and operated facility, priding itself on customer service, natural atmosphere, and affordable prices. The assistant golf professionals can be prepared to share ideas and search for areas of growth in the business. Crosswoods Golf Course encourages golf professionals to keep up with their game as well, giving flexibility to play in Section events.

Experience Required

• High School Graduate
• Preferred PGA class A or enrolled in the PGA Associate Program
• Genuine passion for the game of golf
• Strong leadership skills
• Confident working with various computer programs - ForeUp tee time reservation system, GHIN handicapping system, PACE Tek GPS system, etc.
• Promote Crosswoods Golf Course core values of customer service and friendly atmosphere
• Having initiative to start various golf programs, camps, clinics, and tournaments.

Essential Responsibilities

• Report regularly to the Head Golf Professional.
• Know and understand the Crosswoods Golf Course core values and mission statement.
• Provide a memorable experience for all customers and members.
• Oversee daily Golf operations - checking in customers, monitoring the first tee, organizing golf car staging area, etc.
• Manage and schedule Outside Service staff - make sure their tasks are being done.
• Work with manager/owner on Golf Shop merchandise sales/orders. Contact reps if needed.
• Provide golf lessons to customers and promote the Flight Scope launch monitor.
• Plan and run various camps and clinics throughout the season.
• Work closely with food/beverage manager and help as needed.
• Help run leagues and tournaments throughout the season. Communicate regularly with league managers to ensure their needs are met.
• Assist with other projects as needed.
