As a Human Factors engineer in the Integrated Avionics Systems group, you will be an integral part of the design solutions, working directly with  the product developers, customers, and pilots to perform product evaluations both in the simulations and on flight tests.  You will design objective and subjective test scenarios, create design library descriptions, perform analysis of collected data and ultimately present your findings via a formal reports. 
Our product suite spans Flight Controls and Flight Management System functionality, Displays, and radio products for Air Transport, Regional, Business, General Aviation market segments. The selected candidate will be a Human Factors Systems Engineer performing Human Factors analysis, design, evaluation and certification of aerospace products.
 
Key Responsibilities
 Conducting product usability evaluations in desktop, simulation and aircraft flight test environments
 Analysis of end user acceptance for associated design implementations, to include coordination with various Systems Engineering teams, product teams as well as pilots and maintenance personnel.
 Uses expert knowledge of engineering discipline and Honeywell and Industry standards, processes and tools in order to complete and ensure compliance of new features.


Requirements

YOU MUST HAVE
 Bachelors degree in Human Factors Engineering, Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering or Psychology and 6 + years of experience in the Aerospace/NASA industry or Master’s degree in Human Factors Engineering, Aeronautical or Aerospace Engineering, or Psychology with 4 years of Aerospace/NASA industry experience. 
 
WE VALUE
 Strong knowledge of systems engineering discipline in product development
 Pilots license or working knowledge of aviation/avionics
 Knowledge of regulatory and industry standards (FAA, RTCA, ARINC, SAE)
 Excellent written and verbal communication skills
