Adecco Staffing is partnering with a reputable manufacturing facility in Peterborough, NH to hire Manufacturing Engineers on 1st shift! This is a direct-hire opportunity. The position offers competitive pay rates and the opportunity to join a growing company.Pay Rate: $70,000-$120,000 (annual salary) depending on experience and qualifications. Sign on bonus eligible, dependent on experience and skill level.
Schedules Available:
- 1st Shift Monday through Friday 7:00am-4:00pm or 8:00am-5:00pm, OT availability
Job Summary:
We are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for providing technical assessments and recommendations related to production capability, development, implementation and review of processes and tooling design, and partnering with cross-functional teams to lead projects to successful completion. You will also assist with onboarding new team members and oversee development of presentation materials for sharing with internal and external stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design for Manufacturability Analysis of components and bearings, and partner with stakeholders to design solutions for customers
- Develop and implement production and tooling methodologies and process for bearing assemblies and components
- Develop and release manufacturing plans and detailed work instructions from 2D drawing-based engineering and from 3D model-based engineering, using both 2D and 3D model-based work instructions with graphics while overseeing plan and build optimization
- Communicate timelines for program development/review and change requests, and proactively manage task execution to ensure on time completion and delivery of high quality manufacturing engineering products and support
- Lead assigned Capital Expenditure (CapEx) projects from development and justification analysis through project completion
- Resolve escalated technical issues, prioritizing impact to performance, cost or schedule.
- Participate in Kaizen events, and implement LEAN principles and technologies
- Leads small projects, partnering with employees at all levels to ensure deadlines and objectives are met. Oversees development of presentation data and materials and communicates professionally to stakeholders.
- Collaborates with cross-functional teams to learn and share best practices. Maintains an understanding of industry standards and trends to improve processes within primary work area.
- Ensures compliance with all safety and environmental rules and regulations, keeping an organized work area and reporting concerns to leadership or the Safety team
Qualifications:
- Relevant technical and computer skills (AutoCAD/SolidWorks, MS Access, and Excel.
- Proficient at blueprint reading, engineering drawing interpretation and tolerancing.
- Ability to develop Capital Justification Analysis for Return On Investment (ROI) and usage.
- Highly self-motivated with demonstrated problem solving skills.
- Interpersonal and communication skills; Ability to partner effectively with employees at all levels.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Strong computer skills including AutoCAD, SolidWorks and MS Office (Word, Excel, and Access).
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in engineering.
- Minimum of 2 years' experience in Manufacturing Engineering.
- Aerospace experience preferred and most desired but not required
Pay Details: $70,000.00 to $120,000.00 per year
