Description
Support the Flight Operations Center by providing trip planning, scheduling, dispatching, and flight following services. As such, this individual will need to have a passion to delight by delivering exceptional, consistent, and personalized service that is expected and deserved.
RESPONSIBILITIES
Interact and provide direct support to customers to assist with the scheduling/coordinating and dispatching of future travel requests.
Provide logistical support and ensure trip coordination, planning and execution of all requirements at the direction of the Manager of FOC.
Scheduling aircrew and aircraft for upcoming travel.
Provide documentation for aircrew and passenger travel, ensuring compliance with all country customs and immigration laws.
Maintain all records of trips, including aircraft and crew data and statistics.
Evaluate, with assistance from flight crew, all the risk factors and adjust the trip as necessary to maintain an elevated level of safety.
Analyze all aircraft and flight crew activities to ensure maximum flight hours are not exceeded.
Provide administrative support to the Aviation Department as directed.
Report any unsafe condition(s) or personnel action to the designated Safety Officer.
Other duties as assigned.
Maintain good stewardship while procuring with vendors, for company and customers, record and track all spend for reconciliation and corrective actions.
Requirements
3+ years of Flight Scheduling/Dispatching experience - highly prefer prior PART 91/121/125/135 operations experience.
Must have FAA dispatcher license.
Comprehensive knowledge of aviation weather, FAA regulations and aircraft performance.
Be an initiative-taker, and initiative-taking with exceptional judgment skills to exceed in a high-pressure environment.
Strong MS office experience (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
Preferred previous experience with aviation scheduling software (Flight Operation Software – Avianis is preferred)
Strong oral and written communication skills. Be able to communicate effectively with senior management.
Strong attention to detail and be able to problem solve critical issues. Be able to make critical decisions quickly and effectively.
Effective planning and organization skills.
Effectively manage sensitive and confidential data.
Aviation Career minded individual looking for long term employment in FAA part 91/121/125/135 flight scheduling.
Preferred bachelor’s degree (preferred concentration in Aviation Management).
International/Global dispatching/scheduling experience.
Shift: Willingness to work rotating shifts, rotating days-off, weekends and holidays within a 24 x 7 x 365 operation.
