Navitaire's SkyLedger hosted reservation accounting services simplifies and streamlines revenue accounting for airline and rail carriers, offering powerful reporting capabilities, a full reconciliation between New Skies® booking data and accounting sub-ledger transactions, and a direct feed to the carrier's general ledger.
Summary of the role:
The SkyLedger Support Specialist will work closely with current and implementing Revenue Acounting Customers to ensure our solution is meeting their revenue accounting business needs. The individual will join our support team and contribute to serving our existing and implementing customers. Daily tasks will include attending scrum meetings, reviewing, triaging, delegating, responding to, and resolving issues reoprted by our customers. The individual will will review, triage, and respond to client support cases while building relationships with our customers. The role will include liasing with other team resources, including Product Leadership.
In this role you'll:
- Participate in and contribute to the SkyLedger support process on behalf of Product Management.
- Manage the daily support activities for your assigned stakeholders including (but not limited to):
- Preparing for daily stand-ups.
- Following up as needed post daily stand-ups
- Working/Owning support cases assigned to you.
- Provide consistent internal and external communications to team members, team leadership, customers, and other stakeholders as needed.
- Support special projects including new customer implementations as well as add-on product implementations for existing customers
- Act as SkyLedger Product Steward for one or more pre-defined functional areas.
- Travel as needed to industry meetings, client sites, or other Navitaire sites (up to 10%)
About the ideal candidate:
- Bachelor's Degree
- Minimum of 2 years of software business customer support or equivalent
- Experience working within the airline industry and/or airline accounting practices/solutions is strongly preferred.
- MS Suite of products, Experience with Business Intelligence tools (preferred
- SQL, XML both preferred
