Summary
You will play a key role in driving revenue by cultivating client relationships, generating new charter business and managing trip coordination from inquiry to execution. You'll be the direct point of contact for both new and repeat clients, delivering a seamless, high-end experience aligned with our commitment to excellence. All while multi–tasking in a team environment with minimum supervision. This role requires a strong background in Part 135 aviation and the ability to aggressively pursue sales targets while strategically navigating the aviation market. This position sells and promotes the company in a 24/7 setting; individuals may be required to participate in department coverage beyond the normal business day, weekends and holidays.
Key Responsibilities
- Proactively develop and manage new and existing client accounts to generate charter sales via outbound calls, referrals, networking, email requests, message boards and digital marketplaces.
- Handle all aspects of the charter sales cycle, from quote requests, follow up communication and negotiation, trip logistics and operational necessities after the sale.
- Keep up to date with industry and market trends; control costs and think in terms of profit, loss and added value.
- Collaborate with maintenance, flight operations and dispatch teams to confirm availability and trip feasibility including weather, duty restrictions, connecting flights and ground transportation.
- Gather post flight feedback through direct contact with client and enters the information into the appropriate systems for case management and resolve the client’s complaints and/or issues, if applicable.
Requirements
Experience and/or Requirements:
Minimum of 3-years' experience in charter sales and aircraft management.
Established book of business highly desired.
A background in private aviation, charter sales or high-end travel sales.
Excellent customer service, communication and negotiation skills are required.
Sales-driven mindset with a track record of meeting or exceeding targets.
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, client-focused environment.
Willingness to work shifts, including nights and weekends.
Must be able to work onsite at our Morristown office.
